Coordinate changes to computer databases; test and implement databases using database management systems; install, migrate, upgrade and configure Oracle applications and databases on platforms including HP-UX, Linux and SUN Solaris to support business requirements and using Remedy, TOAD, OEM, and ITG Mercury; configure technical environment, perform database tuning; develop and test backup and recovery procedures; develop scripts to automate functions and processes; monitor database usage and storage; troubleshoot, and resolve issues; perform database administration and ensure integrity, security and availability of the Oracle applications systems and databases; mentor junior level administrators.
